Hey there blog readers, whoever you are, this is my first ever blog post! So be gentle. Alright so let me explain. In about 2 months I'll be headed off to France to study there for around 4 months. At this moment I'm still finishing up finals and whatnot, I'm planning things out for February, losing my mind....you know, the usual. My little disclaimer: I cannot guarantee perfect spelling, alright?
I'm trying to think of something profound, funny or interesting to say. But I can't, so too bad. What I will say though will be directed to those of you who need some advice on deciding to Study Abroad. When applying through your own school to study at some other school in some other country, heed my warning, the application process is daunting, stressful and downright baffling. But there is hope, I went through it as many others have and will. There is light at the end of that tunnel. I can't say it's worth it yet as I'm still here in Canada, but give me time and I'm sure I'll be singing the same song you've heard other study abroad-ers say "I loved it!" or "I wish I was there longer!"
One last little tidbit before I send this post. Yes the application process is maddening. Yes it's not exactly the cheapest endeavor. Yes you're going to be arguing with your parents over this (see previous sentence). But you know what? You're going to regret it if you let this chance pass you by.
